Our Impact

To date, we have assisted thousands of individuals and families. This is not possible without the dedication of our team of volunteers. In 2020, they drove 20,000 km and delivered over 60,000 lbs of food to families in need. In 2021, they made and distributed over 20,800 meals to homeless individuals across Canada.

Our Vision

To date, we have assisted thousands of individuals and families. Of course, this could not have been possible without the dedication of our team of volunteers. In 2020, they drove over 20,000 kms and delivered over 60,000 lbs of meals to families in need. These families suffered when the pandemic hit, with many having no income left to sustain themselves. Soon after launching our mobile food bank, these families relied on the meals provided by ASK Foundation.
Soon, we realized that there were thousands of homeless individuals in our own cities who didn’t have shelter or food. Nourishing Neighbours was born to address the need that the homeless population faced of getting a few hot and nutritious meals per week. This project has grown beyond what we could imagine and has garnered support from individuals and other charitable organizations, alike.
Along with helping the homeless population, we were also able to support local restaurants that were feeling the effects of the pandemic when they were forced to close their doors by ordering hot meals from them. We currently deliver 100 meals a week to Hamilton and 100 meals to Toronto. In addition we’ve recently expanded to Ottawa and Montreal where we feed 50 individuals in both cities a week but are looking into increasing up to 100 each by the end of April.

Our New Shelter

Our transitional shelter in Brampton, ON has been running near full capacity since we started it in October 2020. By helping these women and their children, we are ensuring that we are taking care of those who are escaping abuse and violence.

Nourishing Neighbours

Our Nourishing Neighbours program feeds 400 people across Canada every week. our volunteers and sponsors help us assemble the meal bags and deliver them to the homeless.
